Setting up this project and working with Indoshelter from the beginning, Karin and her family now moved to Bangkok, but she is still involved from a distance. Karin is treasurer of the NGO  ’stichting Indoshelter’.

Emmy Heikamp
Emmy has lived in Semarang for 2,5 years and has now moved to Australia with her husband and baby twins. Educated as a nurse she is concerned about the health and the education of the children living on the street in Semarang. Emmy is the secretary of the NGO ’stichting Indoshelter’, and responsible for the PR and fundraising.

Mardian van Raaij
Lived more then 6 years in Semarang Mardian knows how things work here the best of all the expatriates in the team. She has moved back to The Netherlands and is teaching at a high school. Mardian is the chairwomen of the NGO ’stichting Indoshelter’ .

Alice is the financial member of the Semarang team.

Ina Schnitzeler
Ina is a housewife who, as a volunteer, manages Indoshelter together with Alice, Keyko and Tanti. Besides her busy life at home, where she manages her three small kids, she gives her time and energy to run she the shelter.

Ritu Kumar

Rithu Kumar is married to Amit Kumar and has 2 children; Ahhaan 7 yrs and Avnni 18 months. She has a graduation in English Honor’s and a MBA – Masters of Business Administration in Public Relation and Marketing

Rithu has worked with Rolls-Royce, a multinational company in India for a period of 3 and half years under the position of Public Relation Officer. Her husband has completed 10 years here in Indonesia. And she joined him after one year. They were in Jakarta for 5 years. Where she also helped a small school in Jakarta “Tiara Harrappan” under the responsibility of volunteer – toddlers.
“As a full time mother of two children I understand other children’s need and emotions and I am concerned about the health and the education of the children living on the street in Semarang. I would like to help Indoshelter under the responsibility of Public Relation and fundraising as that is my background as well.”
